Muxpad II-RF

The Muxpad II-RF is a Data Gathering Module (DGM) that is part of the Digitize System 3505 Prism LX multiplex proprietary (owner operated) alarm monitoring system.  A System 3505 Prism LX with the Multiplex option is required for a complete system . The Muxpad II-RF board contains an isolated RS-422/485 serial port, an RS-232 serial port, a 5-volt switching regulator, a single Form C relay, controllable from the System 3505 Prism LX (requires the relay control option) a watchdog timer, battery backup with charger, step-down transformer, power supply, various support systems (such as 128K EPROM, etc.), and zone measurement circuitry with ground fault detection.

The Muxpad II-RF is used to monitor addressable and non-addressable FACP(s).  The Muxpad II-RF collects the supervised messages from the FACP serial printer port.  As each message is transmitted by the FACP, the Muxpad II-RF gathers the text and interprets it into a more usable format for the System 3505 Prism LX.  The new messages are then relayed to the System 3505 Prism LX via a polling radio transceiver. Available, FCC Licensed, frequencies include 130-150 MHz (Military/Government) and 450-470 MHz (Civilian).  Upon activation of any new condition, the Muxpad II-RF communicates with the System 3505 Prism LX to advise new conditions as well as the precise English text message provided by the FACP.  In the event of a data line error, the Muxpad II-RF retains alarm information until communication is reestablished to the System 3505 Prism LX.

The Muxpad II-RF may also be used to monitor eight (8) End-of-Line supervised dry contact inputs for conventional control panels such as fire, security, building, process control, etc. For more details, including the full spectrum of FACP Manufacturers with which the Digitize Muxpad II-RF interfaces to, please refer to cut-sheet below.

A FCC Licensed frequency matched Antenna and Quartwave Lighting protection are required.
