The Q-Mux node is the central polling controller that sends commands to and receives data from ID modules, and, in turn, sends data to and receives commands from the System 3500/3000. Up to 32 Q-Mux nodes may be installed in one system. Total wire run of 10,000 feet can be accommodated by using 5,000 feet from the System 3500/3000 to node and another 5,000 feet from the node to the ID module. A 12 volt power source is required and must be ordered separately.
