| The
EOL/RPI capability allows the System 3505/3500/3000 to monitor up
to 2048 direct-wire inputs. The interface cards for the direct-wires
are available in groups of 32 inputs per card. Up to 16 cards can
be daisy chained to one controller card. The EOL/RPI interfaces are
available in 19" rack mount strips or plug-in cards. When large
numbers of direct-wire inputs are connected, it is recommended that
you use the card cage for the EOL/RPI cards. The card cage will accommodate
16 cards or 512 zones of any mix or match combination of EOL/RPI cards.
Power to operate the EOL/RPI cards is provided by the System 3505/3500/3000.
The direct-wire option should be ordered to allow installation of
the first 16 EOL/RPI cards. |
